Yin Yoga

Are your muscles feeling tight?
Do you want to balance active sports?
Longing for deep stretches?
Suffering from (chronical) pain/injuries?
Do you feel stressed and anxious?
Low on energy or totally over-stimulated?
Our Yin Yoga classes are led classes of 60 mins for all levels.
During this almost entirely passive practice, asanas (body poses) are held 3-5 mins. All are aligned to your personal needs and your body is supported by props (blankets, cushions, blocks, straps). Gentle music is played to help you ease into the stillness of your body and mind.
Although Yin Yoga is a more restorative practice (restorative = 100% wellness), discomfort is welcome in Yin classes.
The long-held asanas work physically on the deep connective tissue/fascia, alleviating pain, helping muscles to get longer, improving joint mobility and general flexibility. Energetically, Yin Yoga opens the body’s meridian system, supporting the energetic flow and emotional balance.
With its internal focus. it is also a good starting point for still meditation.
Please let me know about osteoporosis, pregnancy or recent delivery.
